Mahabouddha Temple: Also known as the "Temple of a Thousand Buddhas," this structure is covered with thousands of terracotta tiles, each depicting a small image of the Buddha.

Patan Museum: Housed in a former royal palace, the museum displays a rich collection of traditional Nepalese art, including sculptures, paintings, and artifacts related to Hinduism and Buddhism.

Preservation

The city and its Durbar Square have faced challenges, particularly due to the 2015 earthquake that caused significant damage. However, extensive restoration efforts have been undertaken to preserve and restore the historical and cultural heritage of Patan.
