Mahabharat trek

The region is yet to be introduced as trekking route despite its unique features – big area of virgin rhododendron forest, home of many wild animals and birds, famous for panoramic views of the Mt Everest including eastern Himalayan ranges and the wide open plains of tropical Terai, beautiful landscape and villages, living museum for ethnic culture and many more attractions. Moreover, the trekking could be combined with trip to & fro Tibet plus white water rafting in Sunkoshi river to village-home stays.

There are other trekking routes and region in Nepal like as Everest Base Camp Trek, Gokyo Valley Trek, Everest View Trek, Annapurna Trek, Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek, Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, Langtang Trek, Gosaikunda Trek, Langtang Valley Trek, Helambu Trek, Manaslu Trek, Kanchenjunga Trek, Mardi Himal Trek and Khoprang Trek. 

Trekking Itinerary


Day 01:  Kathmandu/Dolalghat by bus. Rafting will start from Dolalghat - rafting ending at Dumja, Mahadevsthan. It will take about 6 hours. This day we will see many kinds of birds and monkeys (red & white)

Day 02: Trek start: Dumja - Baseri. Here is available so many old villages.

Day 03:  Baseri - Phusre Danda(2700m). From this place we can see good Himalayan views.

Day 04:  Phusre Danda - Ghyang Danda(2100m). There is called the place of war between Pandav and Kaurav according to Hindu Religion.

Day 05:  Ghyang Danda - Ghoda chuli(2860m). Good mountain views.

Day 06:  Ghoda chuli phedi - Gurans Chautari. Today we feel the trek of Rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal. Everywhere we see Rhododendron flower.

Day 07:  Gurans chautari - Bajradev short trek and Rest day.
  
Day 08:  Bajradev - Ghyampe Danda. We will see birds and forests in this day.

Day 09:  Gyampe Danda - Mate Lek.

Day 10:  Mate Lek - Khiraula jungle

Day 11:  Khiraula Lek - Odani Bhanjyang

Day 12:  Odani Bhanjyang - Chyatle Chisapani

Day 13:  Chyatle Chisapani - Kalopani Danda Gaun

Day 14:  Kalopani Danda Gaun - Lele Bharde

Day 15:  Lele Bharde/Kathmandu by bus.
